This is a good opportunity to take care of what you have put off for too long now! By appointment only.

Puerto Vallarta Blood Bank
Cornerstone Hospital and the Blood Bank of Puerto Vallarta are joining forces to bring the highest quality of services for patients that need blood. This means a continual effort to search for donors. If you are able to donate, please contact Pamela Thompson. With the multitude of visitors in the area this high season, the bank is basically "dry" and they are desperate for donations.

Valentine's Day Blood Drive
Curves of Bucerias, Ambulancias Global, the Blood Bank of Puerto Vallarta and Hospital Cornerstone will be sponsoring a Blood Drive in Bucerias on February 14th. I have a Funny Mark on My Skin, is it Cancer?
With no other oncologist in the area, the Banderas Bay community is blessed to have Dr. Daniel Velasco, an oncological surgeon, practicing in Puerto Vallarta every Monday through Friday. With so many of us having spent years on the beach, searching for the perfect tan, we are now paying the price. Have a suspicious mole or marking? Make an appointment to see the doctor on February 21st from 9am-1pm. Consultations cost just $200 pesos, which will be applied towards further appointments/treatments.

Insurance Speaker for February
Sudy Coy, Worldwide Health Insurance Consultant to International Health Insurance Denmark [offering the IHI Silver and the IHI Premier plans] as well as AMEDEX [offering the Worldwide or Select Plans,] will present options for health insurance policies through Worldwide. Both companies offer coverage anywhere in the world including air evacuation. These companies offer a range of premium costs and coverages to fit the individual's budget. Materials covering all four options will be on-hand for review and discussion on February 22nd at 10 am. No charge.

What's New?
If you have seen the construction going on at Hospital Cornerstone over the past few months, you know that Phase II is nearly finished. Three dialysis units, a new chapel, a spacious conference room, 12 new private patient rooms, and an outdoor patio are all part of the second phase.

As always, Cornerstone Patient Services Coordinator, Pamela Thompson, and the staff at Cornerstone want to see you smile, and are ready to assist you in any way that they can.
