Girls gymnastic team warmimg up prior to final competition.

This duo of two girls had the audience cheering.
Puerto Vallarta's girl's gymnastic team had their final practice Saturday at the Municipal Gymnasium before they head to Tampico for the National Championships on April 26th. The girls, coached by Isabel Rodriguez and Maria Luisa Jellerana are aged 4-13 and put on a performance for the media and family members.

The competition will be floor dance routines and are divided up into free dance and tumbling and dance with the use of ropes. They are from the Escuela Municipal De Gimnasia Rythmica de PV. Two teams competed and Hill be combined into a single team that Hill represent Puerto Vallarta in the championships.

The music the talented youngsters danced to was a mix of Mexican, as well as Latin and American music, much of it contemporary. We wish the girls the best of luck and look for them to bring back some medals to Puerto Vallarta.
