Emalee Chapman, the author of Fifteen "Minute Meals" and various other popular cookbooks, is planning a new series of hands-on cooking classes, "Fast and Simple Recipes for Busy People" to be held in Puerto Vallarta this coming October.

Before moving to Puerto Vallarta, Chapman worked as a kitchen design consultant at the Williams/Sonoma cookware store in San Francisco, contributed to several cookbooks in the Williams/Sonoma Kitchen Library collection and traveled to W/S stores throughout the US teaching cooking classes.

Here in Vallarta, Emalee combines her experiences and her talents to inspire and guide modern cooks. In fact her "Light Summer Cooking" classes, which were held last June in the home of Le Bistro owner Humberto Esparza, were so successful it seems only natural that she is continuing to offer cooking classes here.

Presenting fresh ideas for preparing simple and delicious recipes at home, her new series of Puerto Vallarta cooking classes will focus on Simple Menus and Recipes for Busy People and for Entertaining, with an emphasis on Mediterranean and Northern Italian cooking.

Utilizing colorful seasonal ingredients, fresh vegetables, chicken and a variety of meats, these easily prepared recipes will inspire all cooks to enter the kitchen - whether beginners or seasoned chefs.

Scheduled to take place October 4th-6th from 11 am to 3 pm these classes cost just $100 USD each, including all of the ingredients needed to prepare the dishes as well as lunch and wine tasting with Emalee Chapman at the end of each class.

Class size is limited to only 6 chefs per day, as everyone will cook in order to learn the techniques. Printed recipes for the meals prepared each day will also be provided, so you can re-create the meal in your own home anytime you like.
