This Friday, November 17th, the Association of Businessman and Neighbors of Colonia Emiliano Zapata are putting on an International dinner and show at La Iguana restaurant and club on Lazaro Cardenas at 8:00 PM, with all proceeds going to improve and benefit Viejo Vallarta (Old Town). The cost is 300 pesos per person.

Already improvements have been made such as restoration of Richard Burton Park, placing maps of Old Town throughout the area in public view and placing large posters welcoming all to Viejo Vallarta. Also at City Hall eight pieces of play things for kids, such as see saws and other items will be located there to insure that people of all ages will enjoy their time in the area even more than they had previously.

Richard Burton Park is one of the few remaining in Puerto Vallarta and is located on the west side of Aquiles Serdan next to the river. Almost every restaurant, hotel and business are all sponsoring the event from the largest and most glamorous to the smallest of shops. Major sponsors are Coca Cola and Corona Extra. The event is in its inaugural year and plans to be an annual event.
