In an open square near the Hotel San Marino in the Romantic Zone, Chris May and Sol Rosenshein have created a great place to have a drink with friends, enjoy a romantic dinner or celebrate special occasions - Café Bohemio Patio Bistro and Bar.

Café Bohemio offers Puerto Vallarta diners a varied and reasonably priced menu in a pleasant al fresco atmosphere - but you may have to wait for a table, as this Puerto Vallarta restaurant is one of the Romantic Zone's hot spots.

Featuring "Mexican and American Fare with a Flair," almost all of the entrées at Café Bohemio cost $100 pesos or less - and are accompanied by Solomon's delicious homemade soup of the day and bread.

The regular menu boast a variety of delightful dishes such as Bacon-Wrapped or Coconut Shrimp, BBQ combinations, Grilled Fish of the Day or the "Carne Especial" with a choice of chicken, beef or pork pan seared in your choice of Orange, Satay Peanut, Green Mole or Ranchera sauce and Mexican favorites like Fajitas and Enchiladas.

Daily specials, like Rib Eye Steak with baked potato and salad for just $99 pesos, Meatloaf, Cornish Game Hens, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Parmesano or Pomodoro, Baked Vegetarian Ziti, Cuban Pork Chops, Fried Chicken or Cherry Cola BBQ Ribs will make you want to return again and again.

Top it all off with one of the restaurant's delightful desserts, like a Decadence Brownie Ice Cream Sundae, New York Cheesecake or Flaming Flan for just $35 pesos, or one of their Martini and Margarita concoctions, which run from $49-$59 pesos.

Stop by for Happy Hour from 5-7 pm or 11 pm-12 am to enjoy 2x1 Beer, Margaritas and National drinks and you'll see why this is the place for friends to meet before and after the clubs.

Open Mon-Sat from 5 pm-12 am, Café Bohemio is on the south side of Puerto Vallarta at Rodolfo Gómez 127 near Olas Altas. Closed on Sundays, some holidays and most of September. No Credit Cards.
