The Vallarta Chamber Orchestra will be performing 2 concerts this March. The first performance will be held on March 3rd at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, and the second show will be held at the Centro Cultural Cuale on March 18th.

The Vallarta Chamber Orchestra, a non-profit organization comprised of local musicians who share the love of performing music, is planning two upcoming performances in March.

Their first appearance will be at the Vallarta Botanical Gardens Full Moon Party, or Noche de las Luminarias, on March 3rd at 6 pm. For PVBG members and new member sign ups only, this event promises to be a magical evening with music, dancing and cocktails in a beautiful setting brimming with nature's bounty.

The Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens is a private and nonprofit educational research center featuring over 3,000 different species of plants and a pleasure garden high in the glorious Sierra Madre Mountains. These gardens are easily accessible, just 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta.

Your membership supports their important work while improving the quality of life for Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors here in this glorious region of Mexico. Don't miss your opportunity to enjoy a magical evening under the full moon of the jungle with fellow nature lovers. Please call 044-322-105-7217 or send an email to bobinpvmex@yahoo.com for further information.

The second concert is to scheduled be held at the Cultural Centre on the Isla Rio Cuale on March 18th at 8 pm. Admission for this performance is by donation. Come and enjoy Vallarta's very own chamber orchestra at the Centro Cultural Cuale plaza.

Included in these programs will be the Haydn Symphony #63, the Vivaldi guitar concerto in D major with Rigoberto Mora on guitar and several works that have been written especially for the chamber orchestra - Andantino Marziale from Tschaikovsky's Symphony #2, and one movement from Vivaldi's concerto for two cellos featuring Emilia Torres on bassoon and Rebecca Cothren on Cello. Combining the talents of these two incredible musicians will be a special treat for us all.

These spring concerts are two very special evenings that you do not want to miss, so be sure to mark your calendar for March 3rd and 18th.
