El Arrayán is located in downtown Puerto Vallarta at 344 Allende, a short stroll from the Malecon. Open Wed-Mon from 6 pm to 11 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Reservations at 222-7195.
El Arrayán, dedicated to promoting the enjoyment of great food while defending the Mexican cultural identity tied to food and cooking traditions, is now offering organic products for sale from around Mexico.

Pioneering the "Slow Food" movement in Banderas Bay, it is a natural next step for El Arrayán to offer organic products to the people of Vallarta. With over 83,000 members world-wide, "Slow Food" connects pleasure and food with awareness and responsibility.

"Slow Food" members seek to defend biodiversity in our food supply, spread the education of taste, and link producers of excellent foods to consumers through events and initiatives. Introducing these natural products for sale will be just one of the many initiatives to come from El Arrayán over the coming years.

At El Arrayán, you'll find organic vanilla beans from the Sierra in Oaxaca, "Fleur de Sel" specialty Sea Salt from Colima, delicious roasted crickets from Oaxaca, smokey Raicilla from the mountains of Southern Jalisco, selected artisan Mezcal from Oaxaca, El Arrayán's own famous homemade Salsa Negra and easy-to-transport powdered "Mole" from Guadalajara among other items for sale.

"It is important for me to introduce quality products featuring the varied flavors of Mexico to the consumers of Banderas Bay," stated Carmen Porras, owner of El Arrayán.

"We take great pride in the dishes that we serve and wanted to make some of the products that we use everyday available for people to use in their own homes." Each product is packaged to maintain its freshness and can be transported to the US and Canada.

El Arrayán strives to not only serve you amazing traditional foods from different regions of Mexico, but also teach you the history of the foods, their origins and stories. By exploring their website, ElArrayan.com.mx, you'll discover a treasure trove of interesting facts and tidbits about the dishes served and ingredients used at El Arrayán.

Come discover all of the flavors of Mexico! El Arrayán is located in downtown Puerto Vallarta at 344 Allende, a short stroll from the Malecon. Open Wed-Mon from 6 pm to 11 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Reservations at 222-7195.
