Don't miss Banana Cantina's last "Local Celebrity Night" of the season on Wednesday, April 25th. For more information or to make your reservations, call 222-2114 or visit BananaCantina.com
Since late October of 2006, Banana Cantina owners Debbi & Mike Egan have dedicated every Wednesday night to charitable causes here in Vallarta. Not only do they invite a "Local Celebrity" to entertain guests while raising funds for the charity of their choice, but they also donate 10% of the night's sales to the chosen charity.

This week, Mike & Debbi announced that they will be hosting the last "Local Celebrity Night" of the season on Wednesday April 25th. Nina Goodhope, the owner of La Bodega de Nina, a distributor of fine wines and tropical treats here in Vallarta, will be hosting the event, which will benefit the Alfredo V. Bonfil School.

Many of Banana Cantina's Celebrity Guest Hosts have joined forces to help raise money for the Alfredo V. Bonfil School this season. Tim Longpré of Puerto Vallarta Rentals Premier Vacations and Mama of Mama Dolores Diner got the ball rolling in November by raising money for backpacks, school supplies and having new windows installed at the school.

Then, due to the high demand of her loyal followers, Mama Dolores made an encore appearance on March 7th, followed by a visit from Vallarta Restaurant Guide author Gary Beck on March 28th to help raise money for the school's roof repairs.

Be sure to stop by Banana Cantina on on Wednesday April 25th from 7-11 pm as Nina continues the community's efforts to raise funds for the Alfredo V. Bonfil School at the last Local Celebrity Night of the season. You'll enjoy a fun-filled night of great food and friends - for a good cause - and help us prove that "Together We Can Make A Difference!"

Located on the corner of Pulpito and Amapas, in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, Banana Cantina boasts a totally unique menu featuring creative Contemporary Mexican Cuisine and International dishes in a casual atmosphere created by a colorful, yet comfortable, decor.

For more information, or to make your reservations, call 222-2114, send an email to PVbananacantina@aol.com, or visit BananaCantina.com. Banana Cantina will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until the end of May, close for the Summer on June 1st, and re-open in mid-October 2007.
