Cilantro's - a Haven for Creative Cuisine

All of Banderas Bay is discovering the flavors of Cilantro's, an intimate restaurant offering unique menu selections, an extensive wine list and creative cocktails that delivers flavors anything but small.

Puerto Vallarta - Green is quickly becoming Vallarta's favorite color. Not just in the return of the color to our hillsides and flora, but also because green is the color of Cilantro's. All of Banderas Bay is discovering the flavors of this intimate restaurant offering unique menu selections, an extensive wine list and creative cocktails that delivers flavors anything but small.

Served up with a beautiful view of the Cathedral and the surrounding mountains of Vallarta, Cilantro's combines the freshest selections of meats and seafood with the finest herbs and vegetables to create amazing culinary delights for you to enjoy.

Recently for the first time, Cilantro's participated in the popular Vallarta Restaurant Week - and what a week it was! Over 400 patrons enjoyed Cilantro's delicious offerings including Chipotle-Cinnamon Rubbed Strip Sirloin, Coconut-Encrusted Shrimp with a fresh tropical fruit salsa and Chocolate Bread Pudding among other delicious choices. And of course, hundreds of Cilantro's own signature fresh Cilantro Margaritas were enjoyed.

"We were thrilled by the response that we received during Restaurant Week," exclaimed owner Luis Alberto Velasco Talavera. "Since we took over ownership three years ago, our goal has been to build Cilantro's into a haven for creative international cuisine. I think that as new patrons discover us, they'll agree that we are heading in the right direction."

Guests from around the world are cheering: "WOW - the best-kept fine-dining experience in Vallarta!" raves one Californian. "Can't wait to go back - my favourite restaurant in PV!" glows one Canadian. "By far and away this is the best restaurant in PV," exclaims another from the US.

Come experience Cilantro's unique menu, one that creatively infuses European, Californian, Asian and Mexican flavors; and explore their extensive wine list and original cocktails, all at reasonable prices.

Located at Abasolo #169 in El Centro (just a block off the Malecon behind the Hard Rock Café). Cilantro's is open Monday - Saturday from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am. All major credit cards accepted. For more information, call 222-7147 or visit their website: CilantrosPV.com.
