Summer Solstice Workshop a Sizzling Success
email this pageprint this pageemail usJOY! - PVNN

Julie incinerates her negative beliefs in the Solstice fire.
Vanquishing fear, finding forgiveness and clearing internal negative voices - what a way to celebrate Summer Solstice!

The solstice workshop was limited to just six students so we could go deep into the beliefs that had prevented each person from being all they could be. We used the power of the Solstice energy to burn, literally, some of the more pervasive negative patterns that had pained them for years.

I believed that I was a stupid dumb-dumb and fatso and after doing Joy's workshop I feel alive and free like a bird, free to fly like an angel. She is a very, very special person, I always am going to recommend Joy to my friends and other family. Please let Joy help you. - Julie Belanger, soon to be famous author of 'My Downs Syndrome Life'

Birth to age seven are our first frame reference years, the years in which we form the majority of our beliefs about ourselves and the world. How have you been programmed and by whom? How many of your thoughts are actually yours? What beliefs did you learn as a child? Which ones are you still living?

These were some of the questions we delved into in the first part of the workshop.

With the right questions you can find the answers to whatever ails you! Two powerful questions to use when a negative self thought or belief comes up are: "Is this still true for me?" and "What is true for me now?"

A belief is just a thought that we accepted as true. We know our thoughts change, our beliefs change as well. What is true for you today isn't necessarily what was true for you last year or even last week.

After taking part in JOY's Summer Solstice Workshop, Clay Birder was astonished to realize the face in the mirror was the happy fellow he hadn't seen in many years.
Catch yourself whenever you hear yourself say a word like 'never' or 'can't', 'always' or 'should.' These words will often cue you to a program that your subconscious has running, which may or may not be to your benefit.

"I'm stupid." There's one, STOP EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING and ask "Is that actually true?" or "is this still true for me?" Track the belief to find out where it came from. You'd be amazed at how many of my 'learning disabled' clients had negative beliefs about their intelligence installed by pre menstrual 3rd grade teachers.

Is it really true that you are stupid, or do you just have your own unique way of thinking and perceiving in the world that didn't happen to align with whomever told you that your were stupid when you were a child? Did they punish you for being different, tell you that you were wrong and make you believe they were right because they were an authority?

Look back at that now through adult eyes, and give yourself time to absorb the new awareness it reveals. You thought it was true because of the information and evidence you had at the time, so it became true for you. We see the world not as it is, but as we are.

As more information and different evidence comes to light, new views are revealed and we can adjust our beliefs accordingly. You don't need to keep believing without questioning, unless you want to. You can check your beliefs any time to find out if they are actually still true for you. Then ask "What IS true for me now?"

Julie does this daily now, she is one of the wisest people I know. Wisdom is knowledge applied.

Releasing unforgiveness is wisdom, again you just have to know how – and sometimes why. This was a key segment of the workshop because moving fully into whatever wonderful life you choose to create for yourself, is very much easier when you aren't dragging the pain of the past along behind you.

Clay brought his past pain to the workshop in very physical form, it affected him so badly that at one point he thought he was having a heart attack. In a way he was right, his heart was telling him loudly and clearly that he needed to release his unforgiveness toward his ex.

As Buddha once said "We are not punished for our anger, we are punished by our anger."

Clay was literally transformed after a Shamanic technique in this part of the program enabled him to release all of the anger and grief around his ex. Suddenly all of his pain was gone, physically and emotionally. He looked 10 years younger, astonished to realise the face in the mirror was the happy fellow he hadn't seen in many years.

I recently had the experience to "EXPERIENCE JOY." Having hit a rough spot in my life... you know, not knowing what is wrong with me? Where has that spring in my step gone? Out of the blue I get this email from a friend suggesting for me to look into this class. I am recently single, still angry and bitter. I realized I was there to let go. And it wasn't letting him go; it was to let go of my anger towards him. JOY touched my heart and my soul, the world looks good to me again, I can actually see to the point where I don't need my glasses any more. I have regained my happy self. - Clay Birder, the guy with the spring in his step.

When you deal with the emotional cause of your pain, the physical symptoms go away because they no longer need to be there, drawing your attention to an issue you need to address. I have watched this miracle a hundred thousand times and it never ceases to delight me.

After the workshop I had my first session with JOY! Since then, I've cut my smoking in half, my drinking by two thirds, I am taking half a Xanex a day instead of four, I've lost my dependency on my cell phone, and I don't need my glasses to see any more! I have my life back I am SO happy. I can't wait to see what happens in my second session! - Clay Birder, happy Blu Hair Dude

There has been a lot of demand for this workshop, so I will be holding it at least once more before my San Diego tour in early August. If you have fear, unforgiveness or negative voices in your head that you would like to release, and want to take part in this workshop reserve your place now. One on one sessions are also available.
