Water Wonderland at the Rio Cuale

Over the last few days, the deluge resulting from the remnants of Hurricane Dean doused the Banderas Bay area with heavy downpours, creating a water wonderland along the Rio Cuale in Puerto Vallarta. Since the river rarely runs this high and many mountain cascades dry up during high season, BanderasNews videojournalist Laura Gelezunas took a journey upriver to capture the natural beauty the summer rains bring to our tropical paradise.
