Casa Sin Tiempo Opens in Puerto Vallarta

Verana launches its boutique home away from home on Mexico's Pacific Coast.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Previously available only to guests of Verana, the boutique "handmade hotel" located about 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, Casa Sin Tiempo opens its doors for the first time to the general public.

"In the past we offered Casa Sin Tiempo exclusively to Verana guests who wanted to explore Puerto Vallarta," says co-owner Heinz Legler. "Now we want to offer it to everybody else."

"Casa Sin Tiempo is a wonderful place for a quiet and relaxed stay in the old part of town," adds co-owner Veronique Lievre. "Our guests can live like locals , in contrast to any of the numerous mega-resorts in the city. Close by are the city's best art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs and places to shop."

History

Casa Sin Tiempo was built by architects Guillermo Wulff and Luis Favela. Both men played important roles in Puerto Vallarta’s development during the second half of the 20th century, and their architectural stamp can be seen on buildings from Gringo Gulch to Mismaloya.

Description

Casa Sin Tiempo is a Mexican Pacific Coast-style, two-story house located in the Gringo Gulch area of Puerto Vallarta. The two bedrooms can be rented together or individually with en suite bathrooms. They are located on the first floor. Outside both enjoy a lush patio.

The upper level includes a spacious living/dining room, Mexican-style kitchen and an expansive terrace with an outdoor dining area that offers panoramic views of the city, ocean and mountains.

Neighborhood

Casa Sin Tiempo is nestled among the quaint cobble stoned streets of Gringo Gulch, a picturesque neighborhood located in old Puerto Vallarta just a few blocks up from the Pacific Ocean. Gringo Gulch takes its name from the expats that have settled here for decades, including Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, whose Mexican getaway, Casa Kimberley, is a pillow throw away.

Nearby

Within walking distance of Casa Sin Tiempo is the main plaza the Malecon and the ocean that’s full of life night and day. The city's vibrant art and culinary scene are moments away. And of course the city’s legendary nightlife, clubs and discotheques.

Cooking class

At Casa Sin Tiempo guests can learn to cook classic Mexican dishes from chef Eliot. These unique cooking classes begin with a shopping trip to the local markets and culminate with a sunset dinner on the Casa Sin Tiempo terrace.

Romantic dinner

Casa Sin Tiempo offers private candlelight dinners prepared by your personal chef. Guests can choose from a variety of Mexican delicacies tailored to their specific tastes. Whatever you want. It’s your boutique home away from home.
