Nayarit, Mexico - DiscoverNayarit.com, a new vacation rental, real estate and investment website, was recently launched. The site contains resort information, owner-direct vacation rentals, real estate listings and investing, retiring and lifestyle sections for the western Mexico coastal state of Nayarit. Its nearly 50 miles of beaches is known as Riviera Nayarit and draws vacationers and second home buyers from the U.S. and Canada. DiscoverNayarit.com is the first website to focus solely on the state of Nayarit, says site founder Sterling Meade.
"Riviera Nayarit is quickly becoming a top Mexico travel destination for vacationers seeking all the amenities of a tropical paradise and old-Mexico charm but without the crowds." Fonatur, Mexico's tourism development corporation, recently announced it is investing an initial $59 million in Riviera Nayarit. Fonatur has developed other resort destinations including Cancun, Ixtapa and Los Cabos.
Travelers can contact owner rentals and book flights, resort accommodations, tours and car rentals from within the site. Through an easy-to-use interface, owners and managers can update, add and remove properties and take inquiries directly from interested renters and buyers. Visitors to the site get a preview of the area through a video tour by clicking the "Experience Nayarit" button.
DiscoverNayarit.com is also focused on reaching the ever-increasing number of real estate investors and retirees interested in the area. Last year, second homes accounted for four out of 10 home/condo sales in Nayarit, according to the U.S. National Association of Realtors. ""With the availability of financing, it is easier than ever to own property in Mexico," says Meade. "Unique marketing programs on the site, specific to the region, introduce Nayarit's great natural beauty and opportunities to these markets," says Meade.
