email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

On Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 12:30 pm, the International Friendship Club will be hosting Howard Feldstein, Chair of Democrats Abroad Mexico, the official organization of the US Democratic Party in Mexico.

Democrats Abroad Mexico is the official organization of the US Democratic Party in Mexico. There are committees throughout Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Since its inception, it has connected Americans living outside the United States with national politics and the Democratic Party. Its mission is to advance the principles of the party and to encourage members to vote for Democratic candidates back home.

On Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 12:30 pm, the International Friendship Club will be hosting Howard Feldstein, Chair of Democrats Abroad Mexico. He will share with us the history of the organization and make some recommendations on how to make a Puerto Vallarta chapter successful.

The Vallarta chapter will need 50 members to become affiliated with the larger worldwide Democrats Abroad. There are four other chapters in Mexico - two in Mexico City, one at Lake Chapala, and one in San Miguel de Allende.

For more information about Democrats Abroad in general, visit www.mexicodemocratsabroad.com or www.democratsabroad.com. For more information about the new Puerto Vallarta chapter, contact Ellen Greene at (311) 258-4410 or greene@sunworx.com or Dee Dee Camhi at (322) 223-9804) or rdcamhi@mac.com.
