HealthCare Resources Puerto Vallarta is a multi-faceted Resource Network that is for your total health and well-being. We offer multiple no-charge and minimal-charge services to the residents and visitors of Vallarta and Banderas Bay.

We are also thrilled to announce that we have moved into our new offices located at 183 Mina in El Centro. Our new phone number is 222-2739. We are open Mon - Fri 10 am - 5 pm and Sat 10 am - 1 pm. Dr. Jorge Chávez speaking on "Thirty Years in Interventional Cardiology, Past, Present and Future." A graduate of University of Guadalajara School of Medicine, Dr. Jorge Chávez completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Guadalajara Hospital and University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Chavez also works in New York at the Long Island Jewish Hospital (one of the busiest cardiac centers in the United States) each summer.

* New Life Mexico (NLM) is excited to announce the continuation of their Pregnant Teen program in conjunction with DIF (social services) this season. With 52 girls currently registered in the program (up 37 from just last May) the number of participants continues to rise monthly as more young girls hear about this very special program. With the main goal being the health of these young mothers and their babies, New Life Mexico is supplying monthly hygiene bags to every girl participating in the program.
The cost of these bags varies between $130 and $160 pesos each and with the number of girls going up each month, any donations offered to help this very worthwhile cause would be greatly appreciated. Bags contain a variety of items each month including but not limited to: Deodorant, Soap, Combs, Toothbrushes, Toothpastes, Face cloths and Shampoo. We also supply newborn baby layettes to the girls after they've had their babies. For these we are looking for donations of: Baby powder, Newborn diapers, Receiving blankets, Hooded baby towels and Teething rings.
