Vallarta Red Cross Gathers Aid for Tabasco
email this pageprint this pageemail usAriel Dueñas - PVNN

The great team at the Red Cross Puerto Vallarta, led by Ing. Uriel Almaraz, are doing all they can to raise awareness and donations for the people of Tabasco and Chiapas - but there are only a few days left to gather all the help they can.
Only a few days to gather all the help we can for all our brothers and sisters, Mexicans in great need in Tabasco and Chiapas. At the Red Cross HQ in Puerto Vallarta, all kinds of food and blankets are being donated by local hotels and businesses - but we need more.

A trailer truck will leave on the 15th of November from Puerto Vallarta Red Cross HQ, and there is still a little time and a lot of space to fill, so we are asking the people of Vallarta to donate as much or as little as you can - but please make sure that whatever you bring is in good shape. In other words, don't bring what you don't need, bring what they do need.

Needed supplies are listed below, but if you are planning to donate food items, please don't bring any out-of-date or bent cans:

• Powdered milk
• Bottled Water
• Canned food - beans, soup, tuna, sardines, etc.
• Toilet Paper
• Feminine Towels
• Disposable Diapers

And of course money. There are several bank accounts listed on the Red Cross website and most every bank in Puerto Vallarta has an account set up to help the people in Tabasco.

Our neighbors in the south need our help now, it is our time to stand up and show the we care and they are not alone.

Please help the great team of paramedics, doctors and volunteers led by Ing. Uriel Almaraz at the Red Cross Puerto Vallarta, to make it happen for all the people in Tabasco.
