Vallarta Botanical Garden Suffers "Ticket" Scam
email this pageprint this pageemail usRobert Benjamin Price - PVNN

Admission to the Vallarta Botanical Gardens is $30 pesos, kids under 12 free. For more information, visit VallartaBotanicalGardensAC.org.

Dear Friends,

It has come to our attention that we have a new helper(s) helping us sell botanical garden tours. The scammers are stealing our flyers out of hotel lobbies, etc., then approaching people on the street telling them that they are selling tickets to the Botanical Gardens for $20 dollars and they will save $5 dollars by purchasing their tickets in advance because they are telling people that we charge $25 dollars at the gate! Aye Caramba!

Some poor(er) people arrived here yesterday with their prepaid "Botanical Tour Flyer." They were also told that the tour included buffet lunch. Give them credit for creativity. They were scammed on Olas Altas and then we had a report that they also approached people in the bus stop area, Aguacate y Carranza as the gringos were looking for the El Tuito bus. Our entrance fee is $30 pesos, kids under 12 free.
