email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

Author and psychologist Linda Abbott Trapp will be presenting a free Intentional Living Workshop on Tuesday, February 26th from 10 am-12 noon at the Christian Community Church, next to Parque Hidalgo in downtown Puerto Vallarta.

In her newest book, Intentional Living; Lessons from the Tree of Life, and in this workshop, Dr. Abbott Trapp explores ways to gain more control over our thoughts and behaviors. The Mayan Tree of Life is the model - from the crown (thoughts) through the roots (stability and nourishment).

Learn how the behavior flow works - thought, emotion, behavior, and consequence. Understand the sustaining power of your roots- faith, family, and friends - and how to benefit from that power, and how to share these benefits with others in the fruits of your life, your legacy.

Workshop Outline:

I. The Behavior Chain
II. Why do I Think the Way I Do?
III. How Can I Change my Thinking so I Get Better Consequences?
IV. How Healthy are my Roots- Faith, Family, and Friends?
V. What does my Lifeline Look Like?
VI. How's my Balance?
VII. What's the Next Step?
