Paco Villanueva, promoter, boxer and owner of Power Punch Gym with 8 year old amateur and crowd favorite, Juan Jose Becera. Juan has compiled a 7-1 record and will be looking for his 8th victory Saturday night.

This Saturday night July 5th at 7:00 PM Paco Villanueva's Power Punch Promotions and Gym will be presenting a night of boxing at the Collage Club in Puerto Vallarta.

There will be five professional fights, followed by the main event - a championship 10 round bout in the bantamweight division between four time title holder Alberto "El Topo" Rosas of Tepic, Nayarit against Saturnino Nava of Mexico City.

The other professional fights will include the following:

• Daniel "Yelapo" Lorenzo (Yelapa) vs. Cesar Ceballos (Villa Hidalgo, Nayarit)
Lightweight division - 8 rounds

• El Super Mario Casarubias (Puerto Vallarta) vs. Andres Chavez (Puerto Vallarta)
Lightweight division - 4 rounds

• Rudy "Basuco" Arias (Puerto Vallarta) in his pro debut vs. Tres Puntos (Tepic, Nayarit)
Light flyweight division - 4 rounds

• Daniel "Choco" Mendez (Puerto Vallarta) in his pro debut vs. Oscar Lopez (Villa Hidalgo, Nayarit)
Super bantamweight division - 4 rounds

• Arias (18 years old) and Mendez (20 years old) both fought as amateurs in the last two Power Punch fight cards and appear to be ready to start professional careers.

Prior to the pro bouts, there will be 10 3-round amateur fights, all fought with traditional protective head gear. In previous events these amateurs have been quite talented and many aspire to become professionals as well.

Co-sponsors of the event are the Collage Club, El Torito Sports Bar and Restaurant, as well as Power Punch Gym. Tickets are available at El Torito Sports Bar in "Old Town" and Gold's Gym in the hotel zone. Tickets are $100 pesos for advance sales and $150 pesos at the door. Come out for a full night of boxing action.
