Vallarta US Consular Seeks Assistant

The U.S. Consulate General in Guadalajara is seeking an individual for the position of Special Consular Services Assistant/Passport and Citizenship Assistant in the Consular Agency in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, with the following qualifications:

• Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Two years education beyond high school (attach a copy of college transcripts of diploma to the application)
• 2 years experience in a professional office environment
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Typing at minimum 40 wpm in English)

Non-Native English Speakers:

Must present a TOEIC or TOEFL taken within the last two years with a minimum score of 850/620 respectively. Tests are accepted from the Instituto Cultural México-Norteamericano de Jalisco, A.C. Enrique Díaz de León Sur 300 in Guadalajara, Jal. Tel: (333) 825-5838 or any authorized testing center. (Testing fee is the applicant's responsibility.)

Candidates with Spanish as a Second Language:

A test score of Spanish language confirming the required level, which was taken within the last two years, is required. Contact the Vancouver Language Centre, Bernardo de Balbuena # 60 in Guadalajara, Jal. Tel: (333) 615-7074 or any other recognized Institution (Testing fee is the applicant's responsibility.)
