It's hard to believe that it is already October! The summer has just zipped by and it won't be long before we are greeting friends that have gone north for the winter, returning for the "high season." I am looking forward to it!
Our November newsletter will be jam-packed with all kinds of upcoming events, clinics, talks, special packages and a few surprises! For now, here's what we have in store for October!
Flu Shots
It's that time again - flu season is around the corner. Flu Shot Clinics will be offered mid-October (date and location to be determined soon.) If you are interested, please contact me!
Mammogram Clinic
If you are a female 40 years or older, you should be having a yearly mammogram. When was your last one? This is absolutely NOT something that you want to put off!
Dates: October 22 and October 23, 2008
Cost: $800 pesos includes mammogram, ultrasound (if necessary), manual exam
Notes: This clinic is by appointment only, so please contact me for an appointment and further information.
Men's Health Package
This complete exam has been so popular we will be extending it through the end of October! By appointment only.
Bariatric Surgery Informational Meeting
Join us for this informational session to learn about various Bariatric surgery options perhaps for yourself, a family member or a friend. This is a very personal decision - as most of you know, I had the gastric sleeve in May of 2007 and have reached my goal weight (having lost a tad under 120 lbs) and could not be more pleased! Other Tidbits
The first Breakfast Club of the season will be the first Friday in November. I am looking for local vendors to "sell their wares" so please contact me if you are interested, or if you know of someone.
Los Mangos Library presents their Autumn Concert on October 21, 2008 at 6 pm. Fee: Donation only.
We are desperate for baby blankets and new or gently used baby clothes for layettes being made for Hospital Regional.
Are you looking for insurance? Know that we are authorized to sell both international and Mexican insurance and have a good variety of options. As well, we are authorized by the IMSS (Seguro Social) to walk you through the application process, should you be interested in that.
Everyone who lives here full or even part time, should have a private physician. We are happy to refer you to the physician that is just right for you! We even have a Meet and Greet program so that you can meet your physician!
