Your heart can skip a beat to see a for rent/sale sign and no tables at one of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. But then to find out that they have only moved to an amazing location in Mismaloya, you start to get a bit giddy like it was your first kiss again.

Boca Bento has moved to a wonderful location in Mismaloya. Located in open gardens of the Casa Iguana Resort, Ave 5 de Mayo 445. As a lover of open space and gardens, I will say that it is just lovely.

Last night, BanderasNews was invited to attend a tasting event and I share with you that the food is better than ever.

The dining area is cozy and intimate under a large palapa with lighting that is just perfect.

In their new location they will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast will include classic Mexican dishes with several American as well, lunch will include traditional Mexican, including fish tacos, a delightful tortilla soup, and a classic Caesar chicken salad.

While I was not able to taste breakfast or lunch, I will tell you the dinner menu is out of this world. Under the direction of Executive Chef Juan Zuno, dinner includes popular carry over items, such as the Chipotle Honey Glazed Ribs ($169 pesos) and the Achio Te Miso Marinated Sea Bass ($174).

Now having tasted 12 items in total, my favorites included the Agave Glazed Shrimp Shooters with Tropical Gazpacho ($89), which I rate a "WOW", my highest rating. Some of my other favorites included, the Tuna Tartar with Avocado, Ginger and Wasabi Foam ($125), Poblano Soup ($60) and the Mahi Mahi Ceviche ($75). And of course, who would not like a trio of Chocolate, Ginger and Coconut Creme Brule ($68).

Boca Bento Latin Grill has held or reduced their prices from last season to help people during these challenging economic times. Boca Bento Latin Grill is a very good value for the price. When you try Boca Bento, tell them the BanderasNews Team sent you.

So as I was rolled back to my car, I was thinking of going for breakfast in the morning.
