The best of the best gathered at the NH Krystal on November 5th for the 2008 Virtual Vallarta Reader's Choice Awards Ceremony. This year, repeat winners were joined by some new faces taking home the top honors in this locally coveted award competition.
Encompassing almost 50 categories, ranging from the best restaurants and live music venues to the best health clubs and art galleries, the Annual Puerto Vallarta Lifestyles Readers’ Choice Awards gives everyone a chance to acknowledge their local favorites.
Now in its seventh year, the Readers’ Choice Awards give Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors the chance to use their experience and inside knowledge to help influence how others choose to spend their hard-earned money and free time in this multi-option resort destination.
This year, online polling took place from February 5 to June 15, 2008, resulting in the largest voter turnout ever. The recipients of the most votes in each category were awarded first place, and those whose tally was more than double the number of votes for their closest competitor have been designated as Landslide Winners. Additionally, runners-up were recognized in categories where the highest scores were particularly close.
