Vallarta to Host 1st Rio Cuale Festival

Located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, the River Cuale Island is a charming spot; its natural beauty, cultural offerings, shops and restaurants make it one of the most visited places in town.
With the support of our City Hall, the Board of Tourism, the Island's Business Association, local and international press and guest artists, the island is hosting its first "Festival Cuale."
From January 16th-31st, music, folk and contemporary dance performances, theater, plastic arts, culinary arts and folk art will enhance the melodic sounds of the river and the ocean waves and the beautiful landscapes of the River Cuale Island.
During 3 weekends of excitement, the Festival will deliver a unique program of significant national and international artists, while maintaining close ties with the local community by bringing the city together with an array of opportunities for the participation and involvement of locals and visitors alike.

1° Festival Cuale - Cultura en Movimiento

Ubicada en el corazón de Puerto Vallarta, la Isla del Río Cuale es un rincón encantador, sus atractivos naturales, culturales, centro artesanal y restaurantes hacen de la isla uno de los lugares mas visitados de esta ciudad.
Con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de Puerto Vallarta, el Fideicomiso de Turismo, la Asociación de Locatarios, prensa local e internacional y artistas invitados, se realiza el primer "Festival Cuale" donde la Música, Danza, Teatro, Pintura, Arte Culinario y el Arte popular se unirán a los sonidos del río, hermosa vegetación y las olas del mar.
Durante tres fines de semana llenos de energía el Festival entregará propuestas innovadoras y exposiciones de los artistas mas característicos de la región, manteniendo ese lazo cercano con la comunidad, con una variedad de actividades y oportunidades de participación para los vallartenses y visitantes.
