Taking a Trip Can Make a Wish Come True
email this pageprint this pageemail usPVNN

Taking a trip can make a child's wish come true. For more information or to make your reservations, contact Roberta Valdez at (322) 293-7534 or robertamakeawish(at)aol.com
Make A Wish Foundation, the largest worldwide organization in existence that grants terminally ill children their last wish, is in more than 30 countries on four continents, including here in Mexico.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation began in 1980 with the fulfillment of the first wish.

In 2002, Make a Wish started up in Mexico by granting its first wish to a boy from the state of Jalisco who wanted a bike.

In 2003, Make A Wish Mexico assumed the challenge of granting wishes for all children with life-threatening illnesses in the Republic of Mexico. The national office is based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

With the support given to Make A Wish Mexico throughout the Republic of Mexico from private donations, companies, organizations and volunteers they have made it possible to accomplish their mission: To grant wishes and create moments of hope and happiness for children with life-threatening illnesses in Mexico.

Each wish is as unique and special as the child and Make-A-Wish México works to give the child and their family happy memories, laughter and shared emotions. It does not matter how complex or simple the wish, the result is always inspiring.

We need your help and support to continue growing and granting every child's wish and making their dreams come true.

To raise the funds needed for granting more wishes, the followings trips, provided by Alegre Events & Tours, are being offered for the 2nd season to benefit Make A Wish Mexico:
