The building has been called "one of the most beautiful spas in Mexico," although until now, it has been the private refuge of guests and members at Playa del Sol Grand on Flamingos Beach.
But on Saturday, March 28, 2009, the new Spa Grand will be formally introduced to the North Bay community with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres party from 5 to 8 pm.
"We have been quiet about the new facility because we wanted to use the first high season to perfect our treatments and make certain we could handle our in-house clients with full attention," says Lydia Puig, Marketing Manager for Playa del Sol Spas.
"But now we're ready to expand our local relationships with people who live anywhere in the North Bay area, including Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, La Cruz and Punta Mita. We want to be the neighborhood day spa for everyone north of Vallarta, so we are offering a special discount of 20% on all treatments for local residents and their friends and relations, just as a way to show we want to be the North Bay spa for local residents," Lydia said.
The new Spa Grand is a remarkable building, with water as its principal architectural theme. Water falls through a series of exterior cascades while also flowing throughout the spa interior, forming a Meditation Pool surrounded by beautifully appointed treatment rooms.
