Colima, Col. - Colima Governor Silverio Cavazos expressed his support and solidarity for President Calderón in the fight his government has undertaken against organized crime.

“That is why we do not hesitate to say we are with the President in each of his desires and efforts on behalf of the people of Mexico," he declared.

During the launching of the Appliance Replacement Program in the Municipality of Colima, which will involve a four billion peso investment, President Calderón thanked the governor for his support in the fight against crime in Mexico, adding that forceful actions have been taken against organized crime, as shown by the capture in the past few days of the son of El Mayo Zambaba, El Concord and El Canicón.

“In this struggle to recover Mexico, cleanse it of crime and guarantee future peace and calm for Mexicans and the people of Colima, we must make the effort or sacrifice we have to. We will not withdraw and we are going to win this fight with the support of Mexican society," he said.

The President said that it is important to protect Mexicans, particularly children and young people, from addictions.
