Mexico's GAP Reports February Passenger Traffic

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB de CV has reported its passenger traffic results for February 2009.

GAP's total terminal passengers for the month dropped by 14.6% compared to February 2008. International passenger traffic showed a decrease of 8.0%, while domestic passenger traffic fell by 18.8%.

Interjet started operations at the Los Mochis airport in February 2009, operating a route to and from Mexico City.

GAP operates 12 airports in Mexico's Pacific region, including the cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana and the tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, as well as six other mid-sized cities.
