GAP Reports Decline in April Passenger Traffic

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB de CV (GAP) has reported its terminal passenger traffic results for April 2009.

Total terminal passengers at GAP's airports for the month showed a decrease of 10.4% compared to April 2008.

International passenger traffic for April 2009 fell by 4.5% compared to the same month last year while domestic passenger traffic was down 13.5%.

GAP operates 12 airports in Mexico's Pacific region, including the cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana, the tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, as well as six other mid-sized cities: Hermosillo, Guanajuato, Morelia, Aguascalientes, Mexicali and Los Mochis.
