Be sure to check out Fishing With Phil, a bi-weekly Puerto Vallarta fishing show hosted by Phil Kerr who takes you on virtual fishing expeditions around and beyond Banderas Bay. (video by SF Productions)
Fishing was a bit slow this week; however a few of the boats had successful charters. The Barbara landed several Dorado and released a sailfish on a 6 hour charter earlier this week.

The Puerto Vallarta Yachting and Fishing Charter Association features virtual tours that allow you to see exactly what you are getting before you charter a Puerto Vallarta fishing or charter boat.
The Totoaba fished between Punta de Mita and Sayulita and found lots of Dorado under the palapas and in the trash lines. They also released a Sailfish.

Picosito II had a good week; Captain Torta fished La Corbeteña and found Yellowfin Tuna up to 100 lbs. They released a 400 lb Blue Marlin as well as an 80 lb. Sailfish.

The Elissa went out on a 4 hour trip last Friday and found a trash line about one mile out from Los Arcos. This was a treat for a six year old boy that landed six small Dorado.

The Damifino III worked the trash lines and was successful in finding the Dorado. Captain Chuey is a saltwater fly fishing specialist and provides some thrilling adventures when conditions are like this.

The Isabella went on a 12 hour trip to El Banco and caught 10 Yellowfin Tuna up to 100 lbs. They also released 2 Sailfish.
