A Pirates Life in Puerto Vallarta

As the sun sets into Banderas Bay, the Marigalante Pirate ship is transformed into a magical place to celebrate the mystery and romance of Mexico.
In what seemed like a night right out of the life of Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean, a pair of friends and I embarked on one of Puerto Vallarta's most popular attractions: the Marigalante Pirate Ship Dinner Cruise.

We were received by two pirates that welcomed us to the ship. They took our picture and we proceeded to board the ship and sailed around 6:00 pm.

We chose a spot to start enjoying the ride, a pirate introduce himself as our waiter and the party began. He kept bringing the drinks promptly then all of the pirates on the ship swooped down from the highest masts to the deck, flying across the breadth and length of the ship, coming out from various points.

The music and narrator in the background announced that the crew started with the show, which by the way was a lot of fun and hilarious. After the fun, comes the calm, when they share with each and every one of the people on board a little bit of our enormous culture by means of a very cool pre-Hispanic show.

A short time later, we were advised that dinner was ready and we continued to the dining room in the belly of the ship. The dinner was very good and was composed of Medallions of Beef in a mushroom sauce, Brochette of Shrimp al Axiote, garden rice, Greek salad, and Chilean red and white wine.

After an enjoyable dinner, we proceeded to the upper deck where we kept toasting while pre-recorded music and a light show awaited us.

Then their main feature started as the night fell upon the bay. The "Pirate Show" with the terrible Captain Crispin against the townspeople and Captain Sam, who boarded the ship in full sail and vanquished the daring invader and finished with a shower of fireworks.

The experience was beyond cool, so when you have the chance to experience it call PVRPV's concierge department at (322) 222-0638 or from the USA or Canada: 1-877-462-7720 and they will take care of everything for you.
