August 19, 2009

Food by Seth Catering owner, Chef Seth Cloutman, will host 'Vallarta's Culinary Corner,' premiering this month.
Puerto Vallarta is known for its international cuisine, with as many great chefs per-square-mile as you're likely to find anywhere on the planet. Now, PV Chef Seth Cloutman, owner of Food by Seth Catering, and popular PV "foodie" personality, will host a new online cooking show, Vallarta's Culinary Corner, premiering this month.

Each episode will feature Seth educating viewers on Vallarta's food culture, talking shop with some of PV's great chefs and helping them prepare signature dishes. Foodies and non-foodies alike can expect to be entertained by Seth's wry and outrageous take on PV's food culture. Viewers will also be shown how to replicate recipes seen on the show.

Having his own cooking show is a longtime dream-come-true for Seth, a Paris-trained chef who has owned restaurants in New York and Australia. "I've been approached before about doing a cooking show, but Dave Tarr, the Executive Producer of SF Productions TV was the first person I felt really shared my vision of what I wanted such a show to look like; so he 'got' me."

"This is a new endeavor for everyone involved," says Seth. "I'm sure the show will evolve as we discover the recipe - excuse the pun - for what works best on camera, and which will best inform and entertain our viewers."

Stay tuned to BanderasNews for the first episode of Vallarta's Culinary Corner, beginning this month with Trattoria Michel, featuring Italian cuisine prepared by Chef Michel Ferrari.
