Lima, Peru — The manager of a traveling exhibition of human cadavers says a lung stolen from the show has been returned.

Susan Hoefken said late Thursday that her Lima-based production company found the lung in a plastic bag outside the exhibition after being tipped off by an anonymous phone call.

The caller did not attempt to claim the $2,000 reward the company offered for the lung's return.

The lung was taken in Peru from "Bodies: The Exhibition." The U.S.-owned show has traveled the globe displaying cadavers preserved through a process that replaces water in biological tissues with polymers.

The exhibition travels next to Colombia.
