Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB de CV (GAP) (NYSE:PAC) (BMV:PAC) announced on Tuesday that it recorded net income of MXN68.8m for the third quarter of 2009.

This represents a decline of 18.0% compared to the same period of last year.

Revenues for the quarter decreased by 4.8%, or MXN40.2m, compared to the third quarter 2008, primarily as a result of a 5.8%, or MXN37.8m, drop in revenues from aeronautical services.

GAP operates 12 airports in the Pacific region of Mexico, including airports serving the cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana and the tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo.
