The IFC home tour of Puerto Vallarta goes HOLLYWOOD!

The famed Villa Verano and the new Puerto Vallarta Beach Club will be part of the International Friendship Club’s home tours on December 16 and 17, 2009.

You may have noticed improvements if you walked down to the south end of Los Muertos Beach. The beach is cleaner, there's a handrail and a beautiful stairway up to the rock and some gorgeous new tropical landscaping. A spot that most locals tried to avoid due to some problems with illicit activities in the past has now been transformed into an exotic, inviting beach for all to enjoy.

Thanks to Burt and Gerry for mind-fully developing their lower property below Villa Verano, now called the Puerto Vallarta Beach Club with 3 new beachfront rental villas and a private beach club.

Burt and Gerry have always cared for Vallarta and on that note; their Christmas trees are being put up at Villa Verano and at the Beach club, as they do each year, with an invitation to everyone living in or visiting Vallarta to drop off toys for the children of the orphanages and children of the dump, and any non-perishable food and clothing for the needy from December 6th to January 5th.

All will be distributed over the holidays on Christmas day morning and January 6th. Please feel free to drop off any gift item anytime during business hours at Villa Verano – 430 Calle Santa Barbara, (322) 222-1916 - Burt and Gerry are also donating their Villas to the International Friendship Club home tour charity, this will be the first time the new Beach Club Villas will be open to the public since their recent completion.

As a volunteer organization, the International Friendship Club is committed to funding charitable causes. Social activities are also available to the membership, many of whom also volunteer countless hours endeavoring to make our programs a success. The IFC began in 1985 and Burt Hixson was one of the founding members.
