The Birdcage will be playing at the SETAC Community Center on January 19th at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
Free Movies are shown every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm at the SETAC Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center on the south side of Puerto Vallarta. On Tuesday, January 19th come out for a screening of the 1996 comedy film The Birdcage.

This hilarious comedy tells the story of a gay cabaret owner (Robin Williams) and his drag queen companion (Nathan Lane) who agree to put up a false "straight" front so that their son (Dan Futterman) can introduce them to his fianc้'s (Calista Flockhart) right-wing moralistic parents (Gene Hackman and Dianne Wiest).

A remake of the 1978 film La Cage aux Folles, by Jean Poiret and Francis Veber, starring Michel Serrault and Ugo Tognazzi, The Birdcage gives the original film a fresh new shine and touches upon important social issues which are relevant today.

Come and enjoy The Birdcage with friends you know and friends you haven't met yet. Everyone is welcome, and like all of the community center's services, the movie, popcorn and a cold beverage are free!
