A Classic Evening at Sierra del Mar Los Arcos

The idea: why not invite a group of homeowners on the south side of the bay and introduce them to their new neighbor, the oceanfront residential community Sierra del Mar Los Arcos. Why not host a classical guitar concert, held at the residents' beach club at sunset on the day before Valentine's Day? And so it came to pass.
Saturday evening, February 13, 2010, classical guitarist Rigoberto Moro performed a well chosen program of classical favorites arranged for guitar, as well as several of his personal compositions. On a unique and custom-made 10 string classical guitar, he played selections by composers such as Bach and Pachebell, lute pieces from the Renaissance, and such classical guitar favorites as Capricho Arabe and Recuerdos de la Alhambra. The audience was composed of about seventy-five people who own property between the south side of downtown and Boca de Tomatlan.
As the hour for the concert neared, all eyes were on the sky wondering whether another of the unusual rainfalls for this time of year would require that the pool side venue be moved under the palapa roof of the beach club. Fortunately, the weather cooperated, and Rigo's performance was enjoyed against one of the world's most spectacular backdrops - Bahía Banderas.
From communities including Amapas, Conchas Chinas and Mismaloya, and developments like Las Palmares, Girasol, and Sierra del Mar, friends and neighbors gathered for a classic - and classy - evening. Many knew each other, and many made new acquaintances after the concert as wine and hors d'oeuvres were served with the hospitality for which developer Carlos Osuna is known. A number of guests took personal tours of the furnished penthouse.
It was a pleasant and enjoyable evening and virtually everyone expressed their appreciation, both for the talent of virtuoso Rigoberto Moro, and the quality and beauty of the oceanfront residential community, Sierrra del Mar Los Arcos.
