Budweiser is looking for passionate fans of each of the 32 FIFA World Cup qualifying countries to participate in the ultimate football getaway! To learn more about this exciting opportunity, visit BudHouse.com.
The Super Bowl is over. The Olympics are history. Next up on the global stage? The World Cup. Oh, and thanks to Budweiser, maybe even YOU... As the international spotlight begins to shift from Vancouver to South Africa, details are starting to emerge about Budweiser's hush-hush 2010 FIFA World Cup reality project.

According to the new casting website, BudHouse.com, Budweiser is "looking for passionate fans of each of the 32 FIFA World Cup qualifying countries to participate in the ultimate football getaway!" The King of Beers is promising "Luxurious accommodations, thrilling excursions, and the opportunity to have the kind of access few fans ever have."

So far, interest in the project has been so great that Budweiser has extended the deadline for casting submissions until March 12th. "The response has been overwhelming," says Michael Dubin, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Feed Company, the prominent LA based online video seeding firm conducting a digital buzz campaign about the casting process. "We've seen thousands of people interested in the project from every corner of the world."

Earlier this month, Ad Age Magazine speculated in an online post that Bud House would be a "Big Brother" type reality experience. However, a source inside the award-winning production company bringing the project to life confirmed that this is "NOT an elimination show. All 32 cast members will be living the dream in South Africa for the duration of the Cup."

Any passionate football fans who are English-speaking and over the age of 25 are eligible to enter. Plus, the Bud House website states that they're looking for men AND women. As one production official said, "Budweiser is hoping that this will truly be the experience of a lifetime for 32 lucky fans."

While Budweiser is keeping mum about the details, this promises to be one of the biggest, most exciting, and most globally relevant reality projects ever produced.

The application deadline is March 12, 2010. Details are available at BudHouse.com.
