Spotlight On Vallarta: Hilo Celebrates 7 Years in Vallarta

In this edition of Spotlight on Vallarta, host David Tarr takes us to an invitation-only party celebrating Hilo's 7th anniversary in Puerto Vallarta. As one of the hottest night clubs on the Malecón, Hilo is THE place to be for great music, hip people and dancing all night long in a high-energy atmosphere.
Of all the late night bars in Puerto Vallarta, Hilo is one that really draws the crowds. With DJs playing a combination of Hip Hop, House and great Mexican dance tunes, be sure to bring your dancin' shoes, as you will want to groove on the crowded dance floor.
On this particular night Hilo had an open bar for invited guests to celebrate the clubs 7 year anniversary with the exceptional staff. Hilo offers 2 floors and seating overlooking the street so you can watch people passing by on the Malecón.
We had a chance to talk to several partiers that were enjoying the evening's festivities, including the Corona executives from Arizona. There was a champagne toast and then the dancing continued until 6 am - as it does every night of the week.
Hilo sits on the south end of the Malecón in downtown Puerto Vallarta and is open daily at 4 pm for drinks and people watching. The dance party starts at 11 pm nightly. In our opinion, Hilo is definitely one of the best dance clubs in Puerto Vallarta, so it's no wonder that it has remained a popular night spot for the past 7 years.
