Mexico City - Mexican Central Bank Governor Agustin Carstens said on Wednesday that a decline in the country's remittances, or money sent home by Mexicans living abroad, has touched bottom.

Remittances slid 15.78 percent year-on-year in January and 14.11 percent in February, but data released on Wednesday showed March remittances down only 7.34 percent, suggesting the downward trend has slowed.
