With just minutes to spare, the lanes filled up on Wednesday night, June 9th and bowlers grabbed their shoes, looked for their favorite ball, chugged down an ice cold beer, gobbled up the popcorn and then hit the lanes with enthusiasm and confidence.
Alma and Miguel from PVRPV changed jobs for the night... Alma sold the 50/50 tickets and Miguel did a great job with check-in. Veronica Jurado was happy that Alma sold tickets. She walked away with $1070 pesos as the big winner.
 There were lots of last minute cancellations and changes. Paloma, in Tim’s absence, did a great job getting the last-minute bowlers assigned. Only a few points separate the top ten bowlers: John Power, Gloria Harris, James Myers, Gary Green, Dana Scapa, Alejandro Lamas, Brenda Power, John Rayner, David Schwendeman and Tina Kunkel.
We will see everyone next Wednesday, June 17th, the 168th day of the year, as we take to the lanes again and have some fun as well as celebrate some important birthdays; Greg Kinnear, Barry Manilow, Joe Piscopo, and Venus Williams.
As a parting thought... there are three ways to improve your bowling game; take lessons, practice constantly - or start cheating. Have a great week and, remember, Friends Don’t Let Friends Bowl Sober!
