Vallarta Celebrates National Bicycle Day

If you have any questions or are interested in participating or supporting Mundo Ceiba's movement in any way, please contact Roberto Lopez Fabiola Zepeda at mundoceiba(at)gmail.com.
On Sunday September 5th, come celebrate National Bicycle Day at el Parque Lineal de la Rivera Pitillal. Hop on your bike, skate or scooter and join us from 9 am to 12 pm for fun family activities that promote community awareness and biking as a form of mobility in our city.

Mundo Ceiba is a non-profit Asociación Civil Ecológica that promotes biking as a healthy alternative for transportation. Due to the recent construction boom in Puerto Vallarta, many of our natural resources that are key to the region's biodiversity are being destroyed, which is why it is so important for everyone to do everything they can to protect and regenerate our environment.

Join us for a fun-filled day that promotes exercise, ecological awareness and clean transportation on the streets of our beautiful city!

Live music and other fun-filled activities will begin at 9:00 am. La Biblioteca Los Mangos will be present with Reading in Motion, and we will begin a "Learn to Ride a Bike" workshop for children 8 years up, women, or anyone who for some reason doesn't know how to ride a bike or just needs a little practice.

When you pack up your picnic basket with food and drinks to share at this celebration, please keep the environment in mind. If you bring disposable cups or plates, please make sure they are made of paper - not plastic or Styrofoam. Certainly our conscious participation as citizens makes a difference to start changing things for the better.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or if you are interested in participating or supporting the movement in any way, please contact Roberto Lopez Fabiola Zepeda at mundoceiba(at)gmail.com.
