Urgent Need for Blood Donors
email this pageprint this pageemail usSPCA de PV
October 06, 2010

To donate please go to the Puerto Vallarta Blood Bank, located on the 2nd floor at Hospital San Javier, across from the Maritime Terminal. The Blood Bank is open from 8 am to 6 pm Mon-Sat.
Dear Friends of the SPCA:

This time we are reaching out to help one of our "human" friends. I am sure most, if not all, of you know Luz Wong. She is the President of SPCA de PV. Her sister has been hospitalized and had surgery last evening. Her name is Teresa Wong Meza.

There is a critical need for blood donors in Puerto Vallarta. It is not important that you have the same blood type as Teresa. What is important is that blood is donated in exchange for what is provided to Teresa. Teresa is at Hospital Versalles.

There is an URGENT need for all types of blood in the Banderas Bay area. The blood bank is located at San Javier Marina Hospital, across from the Maritime Terminal in Puerto Vallarta.

Click HERE for the requirements for donating blood in Puerto Vallarta as provided by BanderasNews, courtesy of Pam Thompson. Please help if you can and pass on to your friends. As you continue to demonstrate your compassion for our four legged friends, please don't forget our human ones too.

The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. Monies raised will support these various goals in ways that are most feasible within the community. For more information, visit spcapv.com.
