The MacIntosh Pipe Band of San Francisco, California will perform a public concert at 8:00 pm on December 4th at Los Arcos Amphitheater on Puerto Vallarta's Malecón.
The MacIntosh Pipe Band of San Francisco, California will be performing a public concert at 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2010, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The concert will take place at the picturesque outdoor Los Arcos Amphitheater along the famed Malecón walkway.

The Band's appearance has been coordinated through Puerto Vallarta's Department of Art and Culture. The concert will feature the traditional Scottish music of the Great Highland Bagpipes and drums together with performances by the Band's vocalist and highland dancers. In addition, the band will introduce some not so traditional pipe band music for this special south of the border appearance.

On the evenings of Friday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 5th the band is scheduled to participate in the Festival of Guadalupe processions in downtown Puerto Vallarta.

The award winning MacIntosh Pipe Band is a non profit organization featuring talented musicians who volunteer their time and talent. The band was formed over 25 years ago and since that time has performed for enthusiastic audiences throughout California, the western United States and beyond. In 2001 the band traveled to Scotland to compete at the annual World Pipe Band Championships and other international competitions.

For more information on this unique cultural event please contact MacIntosh Pipe Band Manager Bill McKown at (415) 927-7731 (USA) or bmckown(at)comcast.net.
