The Youth Classical Concert, featuring aspiring local musicians - pianists, guitarists, mandolin players and singers, will be kicking off the Biblioteca Los Mangos 14th Anniversary celebrations on Thursday, November 18 at 6:00 pm.
This annual concert is now in its 7th year with the aim of encouraging the practice of 'classical' music among our young Vallartans, who will once again perform for the public at large. It's open to every young musician around Banderas Bay, in Vallarta as well as in Nayarit.
For the Biblioteca's 14th Anniversary, this youth concert will again feature students from various schools, Pierre Faure, the Syndicato Philharmonico de Vallarta, Jean Piaget, and private music studios and workshops to name a few of our regulars.
Even with the scarcity of resources and facilities in town towards the cultivation of this genre of music, the audience is always enthralled by the high level of playing from our enthusiastic participants!
Biblioteca Los Mangos 14th Anniversary Youth Classical Concert is open to the public and everyone is welcome. There is a minimum donation of $50 pesos towards the Blblioteca's own promising fledgling music education program.
So come one and all and join in the cheers at our yearly celebratory youth musical event - the ONLY one in town showcasing motivated young musicians' good work, while applauding their dedicated teachers and devoted parents.
