Get prepared to have some fun and rock your socks off at Lucy and Gil's seventeenth anniversary bash at Lucy's Cucu Cabaña.
As always, they will be serving "Lucy's Famous Margaritas", which always make your feet start tapping and cause you to dance on the sidewalk to the great folk-art music.
Lucy and Gil say "Come help put us out of our misery! It's Retail Euthanasia!", adding "at a party we can't afford" (also known as "retail suicide cocktail reception").
Cucu Cabaña offers a collection of great gifts that have been hand-picked from over 200 Mexican artisans. Though small, this artsy little shop has one of the area's best collections of folk-art in Mexico, featuring painted wood Oaxacan animals, Zapotec wool rugs, jewelry, textiles, Talavera, religious art, musical instruments and much, much more.
 Gil has been named "Jalisco's Funniest Human Being", and in his spare time, he continues to write and has just published his third book of mostly true short stories, entitled: Puerto Vallarta On a Donkey a Day. The previous two books 'Refried Brains' and 'Puerto Vallarta on 49 Brain Cells a day' are highly entertaining must-reads for anyone that's been to Puerto Vallarta, plans on visiting, or just wants to laugh it up with some wild and whacky tales of life south of the border of insanity. Gevin's books will be available for purchase at the event - get your autographed copy!
