News Around the Republic of Mexico  14 Tons of Marijuana Confiscated in Mexico CNN go to original November 15, 2010 Share Mexico City - Mexican authorities confiscated 14 tons of marijuana inside two semi-tractor trailers parked in Sonora state, the government news agency announced Sunday. The marijuana was bundled in 322 packages, the Notimex news agency said. The trucks were parked at a property near the city of Puerto Penasco, in northwestern Mexico, about 66 miles (100 kilometers) from the Arizona border, the news outlet said.
