Veracruz Joins Federal Government in Fight Against Organized Crime

Mexico City - President Felipe Calderón met with Governor Elect of the State of Veracruz, Javier Duarte de Ochoa, who expressed his interest in collaborating with Federal Government in its efforts to combat organized crime and strengthen coordination between the Federation and the state of Veracruz.

The President, accompanied by Interior Secretary José Francisco Blake Mora, mentioned his interest in maintaining and strengthening institutional relations with the new government of Veracruz, in order to improve the well-being of Veracruz families.
