"Fiesta Vallarta 2011" New Year Party Update

The DJ line up for the Puerto Vallarta New Year´s eve party at Oscar´s on the Cuale river island – Fiesta Vallarta 2011 - in the heart of the Puerto Vallarta´s historic center has been revealed. The 4-DJ, 8-hour + set promises to keep Vallartenses and visitors alike dancing to the wee hours of the morning on New Years eve and new years day.
The party organizers are flying-in award-winning DJs Max Graham (Montreal/London) and Vadim Zhukov (Moscow) both of whom´s remixes have been increasingly appearing on the play-lists of world famous DJs like David Ghetta and Tiesto amongst others.
The city´s official party starts at 10:00 PM on December 31 on the south side of the malecón and will feature both national (Nino Hernandez, Frank Bustamante) and international talents spinning to leading edge progressive house tracks. Along with the international roster of DJs, the organizers have a host of other surprises on hand from an acrobatic troupe from Guadalajara to a spectacular fireworks extravaganza at 2:00 AM.
The event is being hosted to promote the launch of the new website for Puerto Vallarta (VisitPuertoVallarta.com) and to promote international tourism to the destination. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund other events. Fiesta Vallarta 2011 has the support of the city mayor, the Conventions and Visitors Bureau and local business and is being sponsored by a broad range of hotels, restaurants, tour agencies and local media.
Tickets, priced at $200 MXN advance ($300 at the door), are available at Oscars, Blue Chairs Beach Club, tour agency Ola Vallarta, Coral Surf, and Plaza Caracol, or online at SuperBoletos.com. Door prizes are on offer for the first 200 guests.
Organizers are expecting up to 3000 revelers as the event is linked to the free public event on the malecón on the same night where mariachi, folkloric ballet and a handful of international DJs will be on hand to bring in the new year. The organizers have reveled that the event is being broadcast live on national radio and television.
