Alterna’TV Reaches Affiliation Agreement with Mexico’s PCTV for Extreme Sports Channel Planet X

Planet X programming includes surfing, motocross, kite-surfing, snowboarding, BMX, wakeboarding, off-road, jet-ski, rock climbing, snowmobiling, skydiving, base jumping, and more.
D.F., Mexico - Continuing to expand its reach throughout North America, Alterna’TV - one of the largest Spanish-language channel providers in the U.S. - has reached a new affiliation agreement with Mexico’s PCTV. Under the deal terms, Alterna’TV will access carriage deals with PCTV cable systems throughout Mexico for its extreme sports and lifestyle channel, Planet X. The announcement was made by Clemente Cabello, General Manager of Alterna’TV.

For more than 20 years, PCTV has been the leading cable distribution and production company in Mexico. With 700 affiliated cable systems covering more than 1,100 different towns in Mexico, Alterna’TV will now have the ability to tap into the cable provider’s 4 million+ subscribers.
